Carrying over from last week, students use folders,  activities,  picture books, google images as resources for the Inherited Traits and Learned Behaviors,  and Learned or Inherited Activity  (front / back sheet).    Visual Vocabulary Journal sketchings:  Learned Behavior / Inherited Traits,  Interactions,  Interdependence.

Continue Food chain / web review.

Wednesday

Weather observations.  

Plant grass or lima bean seeds as part of life cycle review and soil types.    Each class has small planting area in cups or small plastic tubs.  Intro to Physical Science Review – Brainpop.com – Matter.

Begin Physical Science Review.   Hands – on lab activity:  Characteristics of Matter – Physical State,  Magnetism,  Density (sink / float)  soluble in water (yes / no)  Conductor / Insulator.  Observe grass / bean plantings

Continue Physical Science Review.  Characteristics of matter.
