5th Grade Physical Science Review covering concepts researched and taught so far this year:  Matter and its properties,  states of matter,  forms of energy and their characteristics,  reflection / refraction,  conductors / insulators,   forces.  Some Life Science Review will also take place:  Ecosystems,  structures & adaptations,  inherited traits / learned behaviors,  fossil evidence,  living / nonliving.    These activities are in preparation for the Thursday / Friday 5th Grade Science January Assessment.

5th Grade Science January Assessment covering primarily Physical Science concepts taught thus far continues.  Some Life Science concepts also included.  Remaining class time – students will be introduced to special mixtures called SOLUTIONS.
